
Pumpkin Bread.
This is the recipe that my grandmother has been making my whole life. This pumpkin bread is truly incredible so I wanted to share it with you all. This recipe makes 2 loafs.
Ingredients:
· 1 Cup of Vegetable Oil
· 2/3 Cup of Water
· 3 Cups of Sugar
· 4 Eggs
· 3 ½ Cups of Plain Flour
· 2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda
· 1 ½ Teaspoons of salt
· 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
· 1 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
· 1 (14 oz) Can of Pumpkin (or 2 cups of fresh pumpkin)
· 1 Cup of Pecans, Raisins, Chocolate Chips, etc (optional)
Preparation & Cooking:
Pre-heat the oven to 350. In an electric mixer mix oil, water, sugar and eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix Well. Add pumpkin and mix well, stopping to stir occasionally. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour.
