
Chicken Bruinswick Stew
No better way to come home than smelling this cooking as you walk through the door. Perfect for cold days!
Ingredients:
· 2 Large onions, chopped
· 4-5 Skinned chicken breast halves
· 2 (15 oz) Cans of cream style corn
· 1 (28 oz) Can crushed tomatoes
· 1 (12 oz) Bottle chili sauce
· 1 (14 1/2 oz) Can of chicken broth
· 1/4 Cup of Worcestershire sauce
· 1/4 Cup of Butter cut up (Unsalted)
· 2 Tablespoons of Cider vinegar
· 2 Teaspoons of Dry mustard
· 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
· 1/2 Teaspoon of Pepper
· 1/2 Teaspoon of Texas Pete (or any other pepper sauce)
Directions:
Place chopped onions in the slow cooker. Place the raw chicken over the onions. Add corn and the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8 8hours or until chicken is tender. Before serving, pull chicken out and shred it. Once shredded put chicken back in to the slow cooker.
